Sell high on Stafford, Lynch

Week 6 of the NFL season gave fantasy football owners a mix of good news (Dez Bryant, Jeremy Maclin, Jordy Nelson, Shonn Greene and Antonio Gates finally lived up to expectations) along with some less-than-positive news (Marshawn Lynch, Jamaal Charles, Michael Turner and Frank Gore all posted disappointing single-digit point totals).

Up-and-down performances of this nature can be the most frustrating part of being a fantasy football owner, so this week's Fantasy Foresight will take a closer look at some of these situations to determine if the current trends are likely to continue into the future.

Marshawn Lynch

On one level, Lynch's season has not been a letdown since his 69 fantasy points rank tied for 11th among running backs.

However, Lynch has posted fewer than 10 points in four of his starts, so he hasn't been the consistent midrange RB1 that most fantasy owners figured he was going to be when they drafted him.
