Week 5 Cheat Sheet

Each week, the cheat sheet combs through the choicest Insider fantasy advice to provide owners with last-minute roster advice for the weekend. Here is this week's edition:

Top Tips

Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers: As you might have heard, Mendenhall is set to make his 2012 season debut Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Two other stud running backs have already made their returns this season following an ACL tear during the 2011 campaign (Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles), so is Mendenhall ready to contribute at that level again? Well, Eric Karabell isn't ready to go all-in just yet. He has Mendenhall in the No. 66 spot in his weekly Flex ranks.

Stevan Ridley, RB, New England Patriots: Should Ridley owners be worried about the emergence of Brandon Bolden in Week 4 (137 yards and a TD) or the fact that Danny Woodhead is still in the mix (15 carries in Week 3)? Karabell says not to overreact; Ridley holds down the No. 14 spot among running backs in his 2012 Rankings , while KC Joyner notes that the Pats have some favorable matchups for Ridley over the next several weeks (Jets in Weeks 7 and 12, Rams in Week 8, Bills in Week 10 and Colts in Week 11).
