Pass Plays: Week 15 waiver pickups
As you charge through your fantasy postseason, keep these players in mind
The adage that says you can never have too much insurance is as apt in the fantasy football world as it is in real life. Fantasy owners of top-notch point producers such as Miles Austin, Dwayne Bowe, Matt Cassel, Braylon Edwards, Antonio Gates, Percy Harvin, Santonio Holmes and Sidney Rice can all attest to this given how poorly those players produced last week due to either injuries or subpar quarterback play.
The issue at this juncture of the season is that good insurance policy pickups can be very hard to find. The key to doing so is to focus on those candidates that are either on teams battling for playoff spots or are facing weak defenses (or, preferably, both). This week's Pass Plays focuses on identifying players who meet one or both of these criteria.
To read KC Joyner's list of six players who'll make good insurance pickups, you must be an ESPN Insider.
