Pass Plays: Week 9 waiver pickups
Ready to make your move for a playoff spot? Try these guys out this week.
Most fantasy owners are in one of two modes at this point of the season: Stock or Splurge.
The Stock owners have teams that are in a position to make a playoff run but only if they eliminate roster weaknesses that have occurred because of injury (e.g. Tony Romo and Dallas Clark) or other factors (say, Randy Moss).
The Splurge owners have strong rosters and playoff spots nearly clinched. This combination makes them more willing to risk a roster spot on a player they might otherwise pass up.
