Pass Plays: Week 4 waiver pickups

We've got the cure for what ails your QB and TE positions, plus even more WRs

This week's Pass Plays article will contain its usual fare of wide receiver waiver suggestions, but almost half its focus will be on quarterbacks and tight ends.

Why the adjustment? All you have to do is take a look at the season point totals for Brett Favre (17), Vince Young (20), Kellen Winslow (13), Jason Witten (12), Brent Celek (nine) and Owen Daniels (four) to understand why. All the aforementioned players are owned in at least 80 percent of leagues but have been fantasy busts for the first three weeks. Although it wouldn't necessarily behoove their owners to drop these stars because of their long-term potential, it would be a good idea for them to have some quality alternates on the roster. Here are four options along those lines to go with five wide receiver recommendations.
