Pass Plays: Week 10 pickups

The receiver you pick up should depend on your team's situation

There are typically three types of contending teams in every league this deep into a fantasy football season. There are different waiver picks that fit best for each of these team types, so this week's Pass Plays will be divided up accordingly.

Of course, there are certain players who are good fits for every league, and this week's "What's It Gonna Take" selection fits that bill perfectly.

Bernard Berrian, Vikings, available in 26.4 percent of ESPN leagues
I know I listed Berrian in last week's Pass Plays, but he still gets a spot on this week's list because it is simply amazing that he is still available in one out of four ESPN leagues. He is a prime vertical threat in one of the hottest passing offenses in the NFL and he is due to face the Lions, Seahawks and Bears in the next three weeks. Anyone who watched these coverage units this past weekend saw that they all are inviting downfield targets. That means Berrian's double-digit point odds in each of these games is quite high.
