Notebook: Dolphins hold key to the draft

For a long time now, we have all known that the Raiders have held the key to what happens early in Saturday's NFL draft. Now, though, it appears another ballclub also will play a major role in how things ultimately shake out. As reported by ESPN.com's John Clayton, the Dolphins could ultimately help decide how the early part of the first round will proceed. If the Dolphins acquire Trent Green by Saturday, that will set some interesting events into motion. Daunte Culpepper could end up in silver and black, then Cleveland might take JaMarcus Russell. Oakland reportedly is still trying to find creative ways to improve at quarterback so it can take Calvin Johnson with the first overall pick.
