NFL Draft Preview

As the NFL draft draws closer, all sorts of rumors continue to fly. Anything is far from certain right now. Here's an early look at the draft, and what you can expect from the fantasy perspective.

1. Oakland: JaMarcus Russell seems like the only logical pick for the Raiders. There's talk of the Raiders considering Calvin Johnson, but who would throw the ball to him? That simply wouldn't make sense.

2. Detroit: The Lions have a need for more stability at quarterback but will likely go with Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas, who can step in and help Detroit gain some more offensive continuity. But starting at this spot, you should watch for possible trades.
