Fantasy Spin: McGahee and Lewis

The running back moves have been coming quicker than a Devin Hester return for a score. As of Thursday, the fantasy running back outlook has shifted once again, with two major deals that signal there are even more to come.
Ravens land McGahee
The Bills were finally able to unload Willis McGahee on Thursday, sending him to Baltimore for multiple draft choices. The move gives the Ravens a new power runner with more upside than the departed Jamal Lewis. Leaving Buffalo should boost the fantasy appeal of McGahee, who didn't quite reach his scoring potential in the Bills' erratic offense. Baltimore has had its own offensive issues, however, it does have a respectable quarterback who can help take some focus off McGahee. Steve McNair can certainly keep defenses honest and move the chains well enough to prevent opponents from keying solely on McGahee.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
