The buzz is growing much louder that the Raiders could be on the verge of trading Randy Moss. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has reported that the Packers are interested in acquiring Moss if the veteran receiver agrees to a restructured contract. According to the report, the Packers and Raiders have engaged in some preliminary dialogue. The Patriots and Jaguars are also reportedly interested in acquiring Moss.
There are indeed perceptions that Moss could be declining, and he might not be quite as explosive as he was during his Minnesota days. But it was also widely accepted that he was simply unhappy in Oakland last season, and didn't put in the effort needed to play well. A change of scenery could certainly revive the fantasy appeal of Moss, who could be a disappointment again if he remains with the Raiders.
