We continue our look back at the 2006 season and ahead to 2007 with an overview of wide receivers. Here are my fantasy awards for WRs for '06, plus early rankings and the outlook for the position for '07.

The 2006 Fantasy Wide Receiver Awards

WR of the Year: Everyone keeps waiting for Marvin Harrison to fade, but there still aren't any apparent signs that he is anywhere close to being done. At age 34, Harrison led all wide receivers in ESPN.com fantasy points with 201. He was amazing during the most important weeks of the fantasy schedule, as he scored 84 points from Weeks 13 through 16. Harrison's 1,366 receiving yards were his best total since 2002 and he registered double figures in touchdowns for the eighth consecutive season. You simply can't speculate about a Harrison decline until you actually start to see it happen.
