One style of play is to have a set number of teams and draft from the player pool of 12 postseason teams. Not only is the goal to score the most points per week, but also draft the players who you will believe will last longest in the playoffs. It's a unique challenge for fantasy football players looking for a new twist to their action. You can't just draft Larry Johnson because he is one of the two best fantasy RBs available. It's unlikely that the Chiefs will last more than two rounds, and could be eliminated in one. Joseph Addai is likely to play more games and should score the most points.
Keep in mind that four teams have a first-round bye and will not play in the first week, putting you at an early disadvantage if you draft Chargers, Ravens, Bears or Saints. If you feel strongly any team has a good chance of advancing from the Wild Card round, that team could play the most games in the postseason and ultimately deliver the most fantasy points at certain positions.
