Rock guitarist Gilby Clarke is a hardworking axman widely remembered for a three-year tenure in Guns N' Roses. With Motley Crue legend Tommy Lee and former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, he has formed a new band, "Supernova," which will conduct a national search for a lead singer on the upcoming second season of the CBS show, "Rock Star."

Clarke is rarely out of the spotlight. Recently, he appeared on the VH1 special, "Rock Honors," as part of an all-star band that included Rob Zombie, Tommy Lee, Scott Ian of Anthrax, longtime Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley and former Guns N' Roses bandmate Slash. The once-in-a-lifetime group performed as part of a star-studded show that celebrated Kiss, Def Leppard, Queen and Judas Priest for their career achievements. Clarke has played and toured with Heart, Nancy Sinatra and MC5. Clarke also maintains an active solo career and has worked as a producer for notable artists such as L.A. Guns.

Yet Clarke always clears time in his schedule for his newest -- and favorite -- hobby, which is playing fantasy football. He is entering his second season in a league that includes other established musicians and industry veterans. His league includes members of the rock band Danger Danger and Faster Pussycat front man Taime Downe. Clarke started playing sports in the 1990s, when he was in a baseball league with legendary Joey Ramone and Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom.
