FFL Outlook: Tight Ends

As we continue or look back at the 2005 season and ahead to '06, our overview of the tight end position highlights some interesting trends. One player has clearly separated himself from the rest of the group, although there are many other tight ends on the rise that have shown the ability to possibly become major standouts in the future. 2005 in Review: The Awards Tight End of the Year: There can't be any choice but Antonio Gates. He wiped away any lingering doubts that his 2004 season was an illusion, and he definitely occupies the top tier at the position all by himself. There's Gates, who scored 164 points in ESPN leagues, and then there is everyone else.
