2005 In Review: The Awards
RB of the Year: 23 percent of ESPN fantasy players who chose Shaun Alexander with their first pick won their league championships in 2005. Alexander's Gary Carter-like pursuit of individual attention seems to propel him to high levels. Clearly motivated to seek the rushing title and the NFL MVP Award, Alexander carried many fantasy teams to glory while he made a push for more glory and a new contract.
