FFL: Week 7 Statbook
Kansas City at Miami: RB Priest Holmes is still an excellent fantasy option, but he seems to have lost a step, with a 3.7 yards per carry average, the lowest rate of his career. He has been held to less than 100 rushing yards in each of his past six games and finished beneath that plateau in each of his two career games against the Dolphins, whose rush defense has allowed a 3.4 yards per carry average, sixth best in the league. Holmes is still a solid No. 2 option because he's also a skilled receiver, but he might disappoint on the ground. ... TE Tony Gonzalez has averaged 3.6 receptions, 28.4 receiving yards and 7.9 yards per reception, all of which are his worst rates since his rookie season of 1997. The Dolphins, meanwhile, have allowed opposing tight ends an average of 27.6 receiving yards and no touchdowns, meaning Gonzalez might be in for another rough week. ... By comparison, the Chiefs have allowed an average of 55.0 receiving yards and four touchdowns to opposing tight ends, meaning TE Randy McMichael should step up with decent numbers. He has scored a touchdown in four of five games this year.
