The Bills and Titans have agreed on a trade that will send running back Travis Henry to Tennessee for a third-round draft pick. Although the deal initially appears to cloud the fantasy outlooks of both Henry and Chris Brown, the transaction could give Henry's fantasy value a big lift at some point during the 2005 season.
Henry will join the Titans as the primary backup to oft-injured Brown. But there has also been conjecture that Henry and Brown could share playing time in the same backfield, as new offensive coordinator Norm Chow might elect to use Henry as an inside runner while using Brown on more outside runs and wide-open plays. The deal pushes Brown's fantasy value down even further, and he should not be drafted as a fantasy starter. Henry, however, could end up being a valuable fantasy starter again this year and becomes a prime sleeper candidate for '05.
