What is the difference between "want" and "need?"
I want someone to pay me enough money that I could have homes on the seashore, in the mountains, and maybe a condo in the city for when I'm feeling urban. But what I need is to earn enough dough to keep the bank from taking my home with my wife and kids still in it.
If I fall overboard while sailing, I want an all-female Coast Guard cutter to come pick me up so the entire crew of Pamela Anderson look-alikes can take turns giving me mouth-to-mouth. But what I need is a life vest to keep me from drowning in the meantime.
Shawn Peters explains why grabbing other owners' handcuffs is more rewarding than grabbing your own.
