Lynch, Quinn top the lists

Here are my rookie rankings from the fantasy perspective for the 2007 season.

Quarterbacks

1. Brady Quinn, Cleveland: Considered to be the most pro-ready of this year's rookie passers, Quinn should earn the starting job and perform adequately. He'll be worth a late-round pick as a fantasy reserve.
2. JaMarcus Russell, Oakland: If he starts, he could get done in by shaky protection, and he will take some time to adjust to pro schemes. I would avoid him in yearly fantasy leagues.
3. John Beck, Miami: You never know who will get pushed into playing time for the Dolphins, and Beck is more polished than your average rookie. He's still a long shot to be considered as a fantasy reserve.
4. Drew Stanton, Detroit: If the Lions lose a lot of games again, they could start looking to the future late in the season.
5. Trent Edwards, Buffalo: J.P. Losman is no sure thing, so Edwards could see some late-season playing time as well if Buffalo fails to make the playoffs. That still doesn't make him much of a fantasy option, though.
