Honestly, I like Arenas. I like athletes who are motivated -- motivated not just to work hard, but to excel. I appreciate players who exceed expectations, yet continue to feel that they have something to prove. Guys like Arenas remind you that there are modern-day athletes who are truly passionate about what they do.
But after scoring nine points -- or 41 fewer than he predicted -- against Portland on Feb. 11, it's past time for Arenas to chill. Stop obsessing about Nate McMillan and being left off of the U.S. National Team last summer. Start playing some defense and helping your Washington Wizards overcome the loss of Antawn Jamison.
