I won't lie to you--this isn't the way they drew it up back in Journalism 101.

But I need to lead off with a disclaimer: I don't believe in playing the matchup game in fantasy hoops. Individual defenders often have a great impact on opponents' performances, but unlike football or baseball, those one-on-one matchups are more fluid and far less predictable. Just as important, the probability of a big play--i.e., a TD or home run--has no bearing in buckets. Try as he might, Kobe Bryant isn't going to score 40 on one shot, no matter who is checking him.
