Top 10 fantasy baseball prospects
Analyzing Royals speedster Terrance Gore; updated top 10 rankings
You generally don't see prospects who post an OPS below .500 in the Carolina League with a grand total of nine extra-base hits for the season considered as potential fantasy contributors.
You generally don't see outfielders who can run and steal bases like Kansas City Royals prospect Terrance Gore, either.
Gore is one of the speediest players in all of minor league baseball, and that speed has allowed him to steal 36 bases despite hitting just .218 for high-A Wilmington, and earned him a promotion to Triple-A Omaha. He has held his own in limited time in the Pacific Coast League (hitting .313 with 10 steals in 14 games), and with his 150 steals over the past three seasons, it's a given the former 20th-round selection will get consideration for a call-up when the 25-man roster expands to 40 on Sept. 1.
