Ladies and gentlemen, Gregory Polanco no longer needs to "work on stuff" down in Triple-A.

After Polanco's white-hot first two months of the season, the Pittsburgh Pirates have finally made the call, promoting him in the place of Neil Walker, who is headed to the disabled list.

For those of you who have been following my top 10 fantasy prospects rankings this season, this will all seem fairly repetitious, but here's a look at why Polanco has a chance to be such a special player not just in the future, but for your fantasy club in 2014 as well.

What he can do

There are few players who can help you in every single hitting category in fantasy baseball, but Polanco has a chance to do just that. He has tremendous bat speed from the left side of the plate, staying balanced through this swing with the ability to hit rockets to every part of the field. He has put on some weight over the past few years -- in a good way -- and that extra bulk, along with strong wrists and a natural loft to his swing plane, gives him plus power as well, although he's still just tapping into it.
