It's somewhat hard to believe, but the 2014 MLB draft is now just a week away, which means that it has been just under a year since the 2013 draft. That class was considered by many talent evaluators, including myself, to be mediocre. It offered quality at the top, but not much depth, particularly in terms of offense (especially collegiate players) and up the middle.
