Playing with Numbers: Discussing pitchers' values
In this column last week, we discussed assigning a fantasy value to each major league hitter for a standard 4X4 league, based on the availability (or scarcity) of each statistic that counts towards your team's position in the standings. This week, we're going to do the same thing for pitchers. But before we go forward, I'd like to look back to last week and address one particular area that generated an awful lot of feedback because I think it's important to understand what Fantasy Values do and do not represent.
