Minor league update: Don't write off Homer Bailey

In Louisville, they're looking for a Bailey-outHomer Bailey, RHP, Reds (Triple-A Louisville)
Sunday's stats: 6.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 15 K
For those not so mathematically inclined, that's 15 or 19 outs coming via strikeout. The former top prospect has lost some luster the past two years with substandard performances at the upper levels of the Reds' system, but new mechanics have led to more velocity, more tilt on his breaking ball and more optimism about his future.
They went to see Wieters and a Reimold broke outNolan Reimold, OF, Orioles (Triple-A Norfolk)
Sunday's stats: 2-for-4, 2 HR (6), 2 RBI
The best prospect in the Baltimore system not named Matt Wieters, Reimold actually has been the one pacing the Tides' offense of late. With the reputation of a solid-but-unspectacular hitter who makes up for it with power and walks, Reimold suddenly is hitting .417 in his first 60 at-bats this season, and the power (.750 slugging) and walks (eight) are still there.
