Price needs his slider back

Don't be fooled by David Price's ERA; the former No. 1 overall pick has a lot to work on. Everyone knows he's walking too many batters, but keep in mind his slider hasn't been nearly as electric as it was last year. The velocity has been consistent with last year's level, but he isn't generating the swings-and-misses and chases. He won't be an elite starter unless that pitch becomes a more powerful part of his repertoire. Keep an eye on his slider in Tuesday's start against the Phillies' lineup. He's not a strong recommendation in mixed leagues yet.
