Manny's Loss is Zito's Benefit

Barry Zito has to be relieved to face a Manny Ramirez-less Dodgers lineup Friday night. Obviously, this gives more value to Zito's start from a fantasy perspective. The lefty relies heavily on his off-speed stuff and Manny crushes slow offerings. Juan Pierre will presumably replace him in the lineup, and surprisingly enough, the speedy outfielder has been great against off-speed pitches, especially against the curve. Zito shouldn't sleep on Pierre.
