Minor Achievements: Futures Game follow-up

Two pitchers who were former second-round picks have been raising their profiles this season, and both appeared at the Futures Game. Are they legit?
Brett Anderson, a 2006 draftee out of an Oklahoma high school, and yet another pitcher the A's received in the Dan Haren trade, struck out 80 in 74 innings in high Class A ball before being promoted to Double-A, where he fanned 12 without walking a batter in his first start. That's even more impressive when you consider that at age 20, he's the third-youngest pitcher at that level.
