Games to watch: Among this week's national ESPN broadcasts are Indians at Red Sox, Yankees at Orioles and Giants at Diamondbacks on Wednesday; Indians at Orioles on Thursday; and Braves at Phillies on Sunday.
Schedule advantage: Seven games, all at home: Orioles (NYY-3, CLE-4). Others with seven games: Angels (@TEX-4, @KC-3), Astros (@COL-3, @CIN-4), Braves (@FLA-4, @PHI-3), Indians (@BOS-3, @BAL-4), Marlins (ATL-4, @NYM-3), Rangers (LAA-4, @SEA-3) and Rockies (HOU-3, @STL-4). Good hitting matchups: Angels (@TEX-4, @KC-3), Astros (@COL-3, @CIN-4), Blue Jays (@TB-3, @BOS-3), Cardinals (CIN-2, COL-4) and Twins (KC-3, TB-3). Bad hitting matchups: Orioles (NYY-3, CLE-4), Pirates (@WAS-3, @MIL-3), Reds (@STL-2, HOU-4), Royals (@MIN-3, LAA-3) and Tigers (CHW-3, NYY-3). Weather report: Among games with a 40-percent or greater chance of rain, according to the Weather Channel website, are Braves at Marlins (40 percent) on Tuesday; Braves at Marlins (40), Yankees at Orioles (40) and Phillies at Mets (40) on Wednesday; Brewers at Cubs (40) on Thursday; Astros at Reds (40) on Friday; Braves at Phillies (40), Marlins at Mets (60), Indians at Orioles (60) and Angels at Royals (60) on Saturday; and Angels at Royals (60) on Sunday. The Devil Rays and Twins play all of their games in weatherproof parks.
