Is this a good trade for the stretch run? I would receive Cliff Lee to team up with Roy Halladay and Tim Lincecum, and I'd deal Hunter Pence, who is a bench player only, and Edinson Volquez. My other outfielders are Manny Ramirez, Corey Hart, Magglio Ordonez and Conor Jackson. As always, thanks for the help.

Dave: You should make this trade for a few reasons. First of all, your outfield is deep, and the fact that Pence sits on your bench most days is a waste of available production you could use elsewhere. This is the time of year to make the extra move and shore up your roster for the rest of the season. Even if it means you lose a little value by moving two players for one, it's worth it to upgrade your active roster.
