Todd Jones was first ousted from the closer's role and then disabled. Fireballer Joel Zumaya has long been considered Jones' eventual successor. However, it was 31-year-old Fernando Rodney named to ninth-inning duties for the moment. Zumaya has been bothered by triceps tightness this week, but has returned to action and will compete with Rodney to lead a relief corps that now includes 32-year-old Kyle Farnsworth, who was acquired from the Yankees this week for Ivan Rodriguez. With Jones out of the way, how do the Tigers' top three relievers stack up?
