Michael Restovich, OF, WAS -- The Nationals decided to go with Chris Snelling to replace the injured Nook Logan, and therefore returned Kory Casto to Triple-A where he can play every day, rather than keeping him on the major league bench. Restovich was recalled to take Casto's roster spot, and while he won't see much playing time, he does have enough skills to make him useful in very deep NL-only leagues. Now with his sixth team, the former Twins prospect never showed the plate discipline to stick in the majors. But his minor league track record isn't bad; a career batting average of .286 and slugging percentage of .500. Restovich has only hit .250 in the majors, but he's only received 240 major league at-bats, so the 28-year-old hasn't really been given much of a chance. With 155 homers in 3596 career minor league at-bats, he offers decent power potential if he can earn more playing time.
