Tristan H. Cockcroft: Good morning everyone! Baseball's hot stove season is sure heating up, so let's get to those fantasy baseball questions of yours... Kyle, Chicago: Could you list a few players that are heading into contract years this season that may perform better than normal. Tristan H. Cockcroft: I don't have a full, "official" list of contract-year players, but from the information I have, I know Andruw Jones, Torii Hunter, Ichiro Suzuki, Vernon Wells, Carlos Guillen, Adam Dunn, Michael Barrett, Mariano Rivera, Chris Carpenter and Bobby Abreu are only a handful of the big names expected to hit the market next winter. The contract-year thing does seem to be a motivating factor for a fair share of players, so I'd toss an extra buck the way of any of those guys in the auction next year.
