Dan-O: N. Providence: Keeper question: Is Conor Jackson going to be a top 10 fantasty First Base option next year?
Tristan H. Cockcroft: These things take time. Jackson should enjoy a fine career, with top-10 fantasy potential at first base, but the power's not there yet and I see no hidden signs that it'd coming yet in 2007. He'll turn 25 next May, which is an age at which some players begin to hit their power peak, so it's possible, but I'd bet Jackson is more of a .290-20-80 type next season. That's not QUITE a top-10 type, since it's a deep position.
