Dan (armonk, ny): Is coffey safe as the reds closer?
Tristan H. Cockcroft: I think so, but it's more in terms of there not being any reliable alternatives than Todd Coffey himself pitching well enough to retain the role. Remember, he still has a sub-3.00 ERA and has been the team's most reliable reliever, so I think it'd take a few more poor outings before his job security is in question.
