Finding none of "my guys" available in the sixth round, I, in a moment of weakness, in a moment of panic, did the unthinkable: I drafted Victor Martinez. After the shame subsided and the self-mutilation dwindled, I recalled a redeeming glimmer of hope. I thought I read something about Victor starting at first base or DH during his "off days" from catching. If true, wouldn't that little asterisk make him more superior to any other catcher than Derek Jeter is to, say, Bobby Crosby? Is it true? For the love of all things fantasy, tell me it's true!To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
