• Gonzaga defeated Indiana 90-80 in Salt Lake City on Saturday, despite the fact that the Hoosiers connected on 16 3-point field goals compared to only two for the Bulldogs. No other team in NCAA men's tournament history has ever won a game in which it lost the battle of the threes by so great a margin. • Wichita State's 80-73 victory over Tennessee in Greensboro sent the Shockers to the round of 16 and sent the Volunteers home. Tennessee is now 2-8 in the NCAA men's basketball tournament in round-of-32 games; that ties Weber State and Brigham Young for the lowest winning percentage among all teams that have played at least 10 round-of-32 games.
