• Seung Yeop Lee had no trouble reading Dontrelle Willis on Monday, hitting a home run in his first plate appearance. In Willis' three major league seasons, left-handed batters facing him for the first time are 13-for-68 (.191) with only two extra-base hits (a double by Ken Griffey Jr. and a triple by Steve Finley), four walks and 25 strikeouts. MLB left-handed batters have hit only three home runs in 374 at-bats against Willis, by Brian Schneider (in 2003), Shawn Green (2004) and Jeromy Burnitz (2005).
