A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports:

NBA

•  Allen Iverson scored 45 points in the Sixers' loss in Milwaukee. Iverson's 33.6 points-per-game average in 14 appearances at the Bradley Center is the highest career scoring average for any current NBA player at any arena in which he's played at least four games. The next-highest is Tracy McGrady's 33.0 PPG average in five games at Denver's Pepsi Center. Iverson owns the three highest point totals in regulation-time games in the Bradley Center's 18-year history as home of the Bucks: 54 (Dec. 18, 2004), 49 (Feb. 13, 2001), and 48 (March 1, 2005).

•  The Suns' victory over the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday was the sixth straight game between those two teams (since March 2004) that was won by the road team. Of the 435 head-to-head matchups of current NBA teams, only two others have produced road-team wins in each of the last six or more games. The road team has won the last eight games between the SuperSonics and 76ers, and the last six meetings of the Bucks and Raptors.
