Owens, LT, Westbrook living off reputation

It was pointed out to me recently that I was still using Terrell Owens as an active player in an office league, and I'll be honest, I quickly went to that team to see if I had lost my mind. Why was I still trusting the guy? Was it warranted? I know it can't be because of reputation. The fact he's a future Hall of Famer has no bearing here. I constantly preach online, on radio and on TV that fantasy owners should use their top players, regardless of name. Owens is the No. 42 wide receiver for fantasy points entering Week 6. Jeremy Maclin scored as many points in Week 5 as Owens has all season!

Then I saw the real reason why Owens had been active for me each week: I had no better options. It helps explain why my team is 1-4 in that league. Owens is apparently in cahoots with Brian Westbrook, Antonio Bryant, Derrick Ward, Steve Breaston and Jamal Lewis for being awarded my top underachiever. Bad draft, bad luck, bad season. I can take it.
