I can never remember the quarterback spot being this deep in any week. The teams that are on bye offer up the top player in fantasy at this point (Peyton Manning) but not much else you're going to miss. Tony Romo has been either really up or really down, Shaun Hill has not distinguished himself, and despite his performance on Monday night, I don't think the 1.6 percent of ESPN fantasy owners who have Chad Henne will miss him.
Oh, those crazy bye weeks. Looking at the fellows I ranked in the 11-20 region at quarterback, there are a few of them I really wanted to make top-10 options. Carson Palmer has a very nice matchup, but none of us could give him a single-digit rank. Brett Favre gets the Baltimore Ravens, but that's not as impossible as one would think. I like Kyle Orton and David Garrard this week, but neither of them came close to the top 10. What gives?
