All seems right in the Philadelphia Eagles' world; the team is 3-1 with a game against the lowly Oakland Raiders on tap. Donovan McNabb seems healthy again, and there's strong depth across the offense. But for fantasy owners, is there too much depth?
DeSean Jackson was the top wide receiver in fantasy through three weeks, but was used mostly as a decoy in Week 5, catching one pass for 1 yard. The Buccaneers shut him down but didn't do a very good job covering rookie Jeremy Maclin, who broke out. As for the running game, Brian Westbrook somewhat salvaged his own disappearing act with a second-half touchdown run, but still got only eight touches in the 33-14 win. Rookie LeSean McCoy has more touches for the season. And then there's the No. 2 quarterback, if that's what Michael Vick really is. He clearly wants to be No. 1.
They all want to be No. 1. Competition must be fierce internally, meaning coach Andy Reid also must deal with egos. Let's examine the Eagles' weapons and their fantasy value:
