One week down, 16 more to go. Even as one gets older, the brain acts as a sponge, learning each and every day. Well, each Sunday during football season, I learn. We all do. Here are some of those things from the Week 1 Sunday. I learned that …

… no matter how good or how bad a player looked, a fantasy owner should never overreact from one week. Yes, Joe Flacco, Matt Hasselbeck and Mark Sanchez looked good, and Jake Delhomme, Jay Cutler and Kyle Orton did not, and then I remember it's only one game, and we drafted them where we drafted them for a reason.
