We don't just write about fantasy; we play it, too. As in, we must make the occasional tough decisions, too. Since some of you have asked this week about what I'm doing with my teams and picks -- don't forget about our ESPN minigames -- I figured a brief blog previewing the weekend in that respect each Friday would come in handy.
Just so you know, I'm one of those fantasy owners who makes initial lineup decisions early in the week, making sure injured players or bye-week people are out of the picture, just in case something happens and I can't get to a computer the rest of the week. It has never happened before, but one can never be too prepared. Certainly I never wait until 12:45 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon -- the very last minute -- to make moves. Everyone and their mailman is online at the very last minute, and sometimes you might find the Internet working a bit slowly. Hey, that does happen. Always be prepared. I'll look at each team on Sunday morning as well, but at least I don't have Marshawn Lynch active anywhere at that time.
So let's look at a few of my key Friday decisions …
