Under-the-radar players switching team

The Mets have made big news this week, no doubt. They got themselves a pitcher. He struggled a bit in 2007, at least compared to his solid 2006. He's not yet 30 years old, and who knows, he could be one of the keys to New York's season. Johan Santana? Sure, he's not bad.

Oh, I was talking about the Mets' waiver claim of Ruddy Lugo. Nice one.

It dawned on me while I re-checked and rearranged my original fantasy top-25 that another Met -- Santana Claus, not Julio Lugo's little bro -- was moving up into the first round. I already have three Phillies legitimately in the top 12, and two Mets in the top 5, but throw Santana into the mix and the Mets now have three first-rounders. How can half of a 12-team first round be players from two National League East squads? The national media often gets accused of an East coast bias, so is fantasy leaning that way as well? Aren't there any good Mariners or Padres, West coasters, we can stick into round one? Maybe someday, Kevin Kouzmanoff.
