Lakers, fantasy move on sans Bynum

I've spoken to at least five people here at the worldwide leader the past few days who owned Andrew Bynum, and now have to find a way to fill some really big shoes. They all have different stories, too, and being that this is what I do for my job, being a fantasy shrink of sorts who listens to fantasy problems and offers sage advice, I turn nobody away. One poor guy had dealt for Bynum the night before he went down with the knee injury, which is expected to cost the young center two months.

It's tough to give advice in a vacuum on what a Bynum fantasy owner should do, because I don't know your league rules, your categories, how many teams, your place in the standings, if it's keeper, anything. In a head-to-head league, I'd certainly consider punting blocks, if Bynum was my main source, and ramping up in other areas. In that format, while I'd love to win each and every category every week, I know it's unrealistic. In a roto format, I rarely, if ever, will give up on a category unless there's no hope of competing in it, so you might be forced to trade for blocks or sign an unworthy free agent like Jason Maxiell or Brian Skinner. Woo-hoo!
