Nazr Mohammed has been an NBA player for quite some time now, and each team that has held the rights to the Kentucky product has seen the good and the bad. Well, almost every team. The Charlotte Bobcats have seen only the good so far.
Mohammed has been with the 76ers, Hawks, Knicks, Spurs and Pistons, and now, after his under-the-radar trade to Charlotte two weeks ago, is with another team, and fantasy owners have noticed his fine play. In five games Mohammed is averaging 12.6 points and 9.2 rebounds, while hitting his shots and seemingly blocking the attempts of others. Basically, Mohammed would be eminently ownable if he could sustain this level of play. He's gone from 1.1 percent owned in ESPN leagues to 72.1 in about a week.
And by the time the Patriots, Colts and Cowboys play their next meaningful football game, Mohammed will be one of the most dropped players in fantasy leagues. It happens all the time. OK, not all the time but it happens so much that I predict each week that half the most added list will end up dropped in two weeks. I'm usually correct.
