Whenever you're dealing with young running backs, the tendency is to overrate them when they emerge as stars. But let's make it clear that there's a difference between what Adrian Peterson did on Sunday and what Reggie Bush did later that night. Peterson did something historic. He looked unstoppable. Bush merely looked good. Who is further along as a running back? I say it's Peterson.
Of course, Bush is fast and exciting, and when he runs to the outside, good luck keeping up with him. But Peterson, who I praised quite a bit in my Sunday night blog when I wrote he is already one of the top keepers in all of fantasy, on par with some guy named Tomlinson, can also run outside. He can run between the tackles, he can run over linebackers, around corners ... it looks like he can do just about whatever he wants.
