Well, I'm back. It was a fine vacation, but it had to end at some point. I'm feeling better today than quite a few of the fantasy players in the news over the last week. I didn't break my wrist, tear a labrum or cough up blood after leaving a dugout, nor was I traded away after a clubhouse fight or designated for assignment. I am a bit sunburned, though. But the show must go on.
Here's what I didn't write about on my week off.
• Miguel Tejada, Orioles: First of all, I'm glad to see Tejada going on the DL for his broken wrist, rather than trying to play through it or cheapen the game by continuing the streak the way he did. For those unaware, Tejada kept the fifth-longest consecutive games streak in big league history alive an extra game by bunting in the first inning Thursday, then being removed from the game. Now Tejada is really removed from the game, for at least a month I figure.
